Loses Ardent Supporter
and Long
Time Friend, Ron Kelly
Chesterfield, MO - Earlier today, NIFA lost an ardent supporter and long time friend Ron Kelly. Ron served in many positions during his relationship with NIFA. In 1963, Ron was the National Secretary, the National Advisor in 1967, and a member of the NIFA Council as the region 8 representative and member emeritus for over thirty years. Ron also served as the National President, National Vice-President, and Regional Govenor for Alpha Eta Rho. At the time of his death, Ron was the current president of the NIFA Foundation.
In 2006, Ron Kelly was inducted into the Illinois Aviation Hall of Fame in recognition of his service and accomplishments in the state of Illinois and the field of aviation.
Ron's family requests that donations in memory of Ron, be made to either Alpha Eta Rho or the National Intercollegiate Flying Association, in lieu of flowers
